Question by Johnny: My motorola wireless router won’t connect with my new Charter cable modem. What should I do?
I have a motorola wireless router, which was working fine with my AT@T Internet Modem. Now that I’ve switched to a cable modem, the wireless no longer gets internet. It does pop up on my list of wireless availability. My cable modem is working when I connect directly with an ethernet cord but I need my wireless. What should I do?

Make sure when you do it that you plug the modem in the ethernet port dedicated for internet. If it still doesn’t work what you can do is manually configure the IP address setting in your wireless router. Find out the your modems default LAN IP address then configure the IP address and DNS in your wireless router.

For further information about your router configurations i have a direct link for the product manual models:

Good luck :)
